TRANSFER TESTIMONIALS

As Social Media & Content Producer for Southern Connecticut State University, I created and led Transfer Testimonials, a series of sit-down interviews with transfer students about the paths that brought them to Southern. As a transfer student myself, I came to SCSU from Connecticut State Community College and knew firsthand that the traditional "college experience" story doesn't fit everyone. I wanted to give students with non-traditional journeys a space to be seen and heard, and to show prospective transfers that there's a real community waiting for them. I handled the project from concept through final cut: developing the interview format, filming and conducting the conversations, and editing each story into content built for social. It's the work I'm proudest of from my time at Southern, because it turned an experience that often feels isolating into one students could recognize themselves in.
